NANOPROTECT · CONCRETE & STONE PROTECTION · MADE IN USA
How it works
Absorbs deep into porous surfaces, lining the pores with a water-repellent barrier while remaining breathable.

Freeze-thaw protection
Porous concrete absorbs rain and melting snow.
Freezing water expands by about 9%, creating internal pressure.
Repeated freeze-thaw cycles can cause visible damage; deicing salts can increase exposure.
Engineered to penetrate deep into concrete and stone. Not a surface coating that peels.
One application delivers proven years of deep protection — verified in real-world field tests.
Penetrates pores and reduces how much water, oil and grime your concrete soaks up.
Your driveway stays cleaner, longer. Spend weekends doing what you actually enjoy.
Helps reduce algae buildup and resists common driveway stains over time.
Water-based formula. Safe around kids and pets once fully cured.
No microplastics. No PFAS. Independently third-party tested.
Less water in the pores means less ice expanding inside your concrete.
Helps reduce the absorption of salty water that leads to scaling and surface damage.
The weekend cycle
You spent your entire Saturday pressure washing your driveway. A few months later — the stains, the algae buildup, the dingy look — they're all back. The cycle never ends.
Real-world tested
Proven performance in real conditions against water absorption, surface staining and freeze-thaw damage.

Applications
One solution for many absorbent, unsealed mineral surfaces.

How to use

Pressure wash and allow to dry completely.

Use a pump sprayer for uniform coverage.

Apply subsequent coats while the surface is still wet.

Allow the product to cure according to label directions.
Coverage

Answers
Ongoing field tests have passed 36 months on horizontal surfaces. Durability depends on substrate, preparation, application and exposure.
It is intended for absorbent, unsealed concrete, pavers, brick and suitable natural stone. Do not use on polished, non-absorbent or previously sealed surfaces.
It penetrates instead of creating a glossy topical coating. Always test an inconspicuous area.
Plan around 135 sq ft per ready-to-use gallon for the recommended two-coat wet-on-wet method, or approximately 200 sq ft for one coat.
Keep people and animals away during application and curing. Follow the product label before allowing normal use.
By reducing moisture absorption, NanoProtect can help reduce staining and algae buildup over time.
It helps reduce absorption of water and salty runoff, which can contribute to freeze-thaw damage. It is not a guarantee against cracking.
Ready-to-use, water-based silane/siloxane protection for absorbent unsealed concrete, pavers and brick. Natural matte appearance without a surface film.
Reducing water absorption helps limit moisture exposure contributing to freeze-thaw cracking and spalling. This is a water repellent, not a waterproof membrane.
German-engineered, water-based and ultra-low VOC; no mixing required.
Historical laboratory evidence: Original German developer reported 99.00% reduced water absorption and 97.62% after alkaline exposure (reported DIN EN 13580). Modified DIN EN 13581 freeze-thaw/deicing salt testing on highly absorbent calcium silicate masonry reported 0.03% treated versus 28.10% untreated mass loss.
Long-term observations: Horizontal field test ongoing since July 2023 (36+ months); façade application observed since December 2015 (10+ years). Neither establishes a guaranteed service life.
Historical manufacturer-reported data; original certificates unavailable. Underlying active formulation reportedly unchanged. Results depend on substrate, dilution and application conditions.
Up to approximately 200 sq ft for a single coat, or 135 sq ft with recommended wet-on-wet double application. Apply to completely dry, clean absorbent material and remove unabsorbed excess. For a full driveway, choose the 5 Gallon Ready-to-Use or Concentrate.
For a full driveway, choose our 5 Gallon Ready-to-Use or Concentrate.
What's the best concrete sealer for a driveway?
For an outdoor driveway, a penetrating silane/siloxane sealer leaves no slippery film and helps protect against freeze-thaw.
What's the difference between a penetrating and a film-forming sealer?
A penetrating sealer soaks into the concrete and keeps its natural look. A film-forming acrylic sits on the surface, where it can peel or get slippery.
How much does one gallon cover?
About 200 sq ft as a single coat, or about 135 sq ft wet-on-wet.
Is it a waterproofing sealer?
It's a penetrating water repellent that reduces how much water the surface absorbs. It doesn't form a waterproof membrane, so don't use it on basement or below-grade walls under water pressure.
Can I use it on a pool deck or garage floor?
Yes. It works on any absorbent mineral surface, including unsealed concrete pool decks and garage floors.
How soon can I walk on it, and what about rain?
The surface is walkable after about 2 hours. Ideally, keep it free of rain for 24 hours or more after application.
Does it leave a wet look?
No. It dries to a natural matte finish.
How long does it last?
Our ongoing outdoor tests show protection on a double-coated concrete patio after 36+ months and on a building facade after 10+ years. Actual lifespan depends on the surface and how exposed it is.
