NANOPROTECT · CONCRETE & STONE PROTECTION · MADE IN USA
How it works
Absorbs deep into porous surfaces, lining the pores with a water-repellent barrier while remaining breathable.

Freeze-thaw protection
Porous concrete absorbs rain and melting snow.
Freezing water expands by about 9%, creating internal pressure.
Repeated freeze-thaw cycles can cause visible damage; deicing salts can increase exposure.
Engineered to penetrate deep into concrete and stone. Not a surface coating that peels.
One application delivers proven years of deep protection — verified in real-world field tests.
Penetrates pores and reduces how much water, oil and grime your concrete soaks up.
Your driveway stays cleaner, longer. Spend weekends doing what you actually enjoy.
Helps reduce algae buildup and resists common driveway stains over time.
Water-based formula. Safe around kids and pets once fully cured.
No microplastics. No PFAS. Independently third-party tested.
Less water in the pores means less ice expanding inside your concrete.
Helps reduce the absorption of salty water that leads to scaling and surface damage.
The weekend cycle
You spent your entire Saturday pressure washing your driveway. A few months later — the stains, the algae buildup, the dingy look — they're all back. The cycle never ends.
Real-world tested
Proven performance in real conditions against water absorption, surface staining and freeze-thaw damage.

Applications
One solution for many absorbent, unsealed mineral surfaces.

How to use

Pressure wash and allow to dry completely.

Use a pump sprayer for uniform coverage.

Apply subsequent coats while the surface is still wet.

Allow the product to cure according to label directions.
Coverage

Answers
Ongoing field tests have passed 36 months on horizontal surfaces. Durability depends on substrate, preparation, application and exposure.
It is intended for absorbent, unsealed concrete, pavers, brick and suitable natural stone. Do not use on polished, non-absorbent or previously sealed surfaces.
It penetrates instead of creating a glossy topical coating. Always test an inconspicuous area.
Plan around 135 sq ft per ready-to-use gallon for the recommended two-coat wet-on-wet method, or approximately 200 sq ft for one coat.
Keep people and animals away during application and curing. Follow the product label before allowing normal use.
By reducing moisture absorption, NanoProtect can help reduce staining and algae buildup over time.
It helps reduce absorption of water and salty runoff, which can contribute to freeze-thaw damage. It is not a guarantee against cracking.
50% active ingredients in the undiluted concentrate, manufacturer-confirmed. Water-based, ultra-low VOC and natural matte finish.
Add water to one liter concentrate to prepare approximately 3 US gallons of finished solution according to the product instructions. The 50% figure does not apply to the diluted mixture.
Historical laboratory evidence: Original German developer reported 99.00% reduced water absorption and 97.62% after alkaline exposure (reported DIN EN 13580). Modified DIN EN 13581 freeze-thaw/deicing salt testing on highly absorbent calcium silicate masonry reported 0.03% treated versus 28.10% untreated mass loss.
Long-term observations: Horizontal field test ongoing since July 2023 (36+ months); façade application observed since December 2015 (10+ years). Neither establishes a guaranteed service life.
Historical manufacturer-reported data; original certificates unavailable. Underlying active formulation reportedly unchanged. Results depend on substrate, dilution and application conditions.
Prepare approximately 3 gallons total finished solution. Apply to clean, completely dry absorbent surfaces. Up to 600 sq ft single coat or approximately 405 sq ft wet-on-wet.
Concentrate saves shipping weight and storage space; ready-to-use requires no mixing. For a larger project, consider the 64 oz Ultra-Concentrate.
For a larger project, compare the 64 oz Ultra-Concentrate.
What is a silane siloxane sealer?
Silanes go deep into the pores of the concrete, and siloxanes form a water-repellent layer near the surface. The surface repels water and looks the same as before.
How do I mix the concentrate?
Pour the 1 L concentrate into a container and add water until you have 3 gallons of ready-to-use sealer.
How much area does 1 L cover?
About 600 sq ft as a single coat, or about 405 sq ft wet-on-wet.
How soon can I walk on it, and what about rain?
The surface is walkable after about 2 hours. Ideally, keep it free of rain for 24 hours or more after application.
Should I buy the concentrate or the ready-to-use?
The concentrate saves on shipping and storage space. Ready-to-use needs no mixing.
Does it leave a wet look?
No. It dries to a natural matte finish.
